How to Simply Introduce Yourself

In an article of Harvard Business Review, Andrea Wojnicki, executive communication coach and founder of Talk About Talk, explains how to simply introduce yourself. The efficient framework is in three words : Present, Past, Future.

Present

What’s your name, your job, your expertise, your current project and where you are based.

Past

Your past should be described in two or three additional points to give credibility or open the interest. It can also contain short descriptions of past projects or accomplishments.

Future

What do you expect of this meeting and express your enthusiasm to the other participants.
